Covid - 19

During COVID-19 BRAG have been unable to provide some of the activity’s that we hoped to.

We still will provide information and contacts for other organisations who are operating in South Lanarkshire and to promote the good work that they are doing as we always do.

All of our activities will take place via Facebook and we will not be requesting any donations for any of our work at this moment in time we would rather you donated to Hamilton Churches Drop In Centre

If you are struggling at this time and require help or assistance BRAG have good links to community groups and organisations as well as council services so please do not hesitate to contact us via Facebook and we can put you in contact with the support you need.

In the 1st instance we would ask you to contact the

Play areas

The difficult decision has been taken to close all children’s play areas in South Lanarkshire.

We appreciate that this will disappoint some residents, but the decision is in line with the latest advice from the Scottish Government on social distancing to limit the spread of coronavirus.

The advice remains that people who can exercise should still do so once a day, such as by taking a walk, a run or a cycle. However, exercise should only be with members of the same household, and people should not congregate or travel far to get their exercise. Closing our play parks will help prevent congregation and will also prevent indirect contact via play equipment. Signage is being posted at all play parks to ask people to comply with the closure.More details and advice are on the NHS Inform website -http://orlo.uk/tw5D4
