The Hamilton Cenotaph commemorates the Men of Hamilton who gave their lives in the  First World War (1914-1918) and  Second World War (1939-1945) it was unveiled in the park on 5 September 1926 by the  Right Honourable Earl of Home. The Simple cenotaph set in slightly sunk and paved garden , The Arms of the Burgh of hamilton are carved on the centre  the names of the fallen  are on plaques at the townhouse Hamilton.

12 O'clock: THE SEA AND THE AIR

The newer memorial commemorates local service personnel who have lost their lives since World War II, and sits alongside the current cenotaph at the park. There is space to include more than 140 names, with the first 28 already inscribed.
